One of the country’s leading consultants have a vacancy for a Geotechnical Engineer in their Nottingham environmental team, to work on small to large-scale projects involving investigations for various sizes and types of structures.
The role will be to undertake investigation and design projects and to be involved in all facets of planning, execution and completion of investigation projects.
Assist in the design of various foundations and retaining structures. Monitoring and design, and in foundation inspection. Design of various foundations and retaining structures. All levels of project planning and implementation. Liaison with the project manager.
Skills and experience required include field and reporting experience in geotechnical investigation. Computer literate and conversant with MS Packages as well as STARES and Slope*W and MSc in an Environmental related subject with at least 5 years experience in a similar role.
